Tow truck

Reference pic

Create cylinder - extrude - 20+ sides - smooth - editable poly

Inset - front and back - Remove excess geometry

bridge gaps in geometry - creating to archs

Clone - move second arch required distance

Attach to each other

Remove depth geometry  (change of build plans)

Bridge arches using bridge tool under edges

re create - depth

By building this method lost smooth geometry in curves - straight edges were simply projected for depth

Rebuilt from scratch

Bridged as originally planned

Capped all gaped geometry caused by this method

Increased depth of body compared to wheel arch

Removed excess geometry

Removed front arch

Replaced with flat plane

Extruded box from bottom edge. Moved vertices to create angle

Removed excess geometry

extruded centre

Angled centre (to allow room for airplane front axel)

Extrude forward to create font of truck

Extrude vertically to create cabin

use connect tool to add geometry to angle cabin backwards - use inset to create window geometry

Select window geometry and extrude into cockpit create indentation

repeat technique to create indents for lights

Create box 2 verticle sections by 3 horizontal - editable poly

Edit vertex to create step - assign material and attach to body

Add geometry for sun roof (half of geometry for use with symmetry later

Use previous technique to create details in indents

Apply materials - detach indents to apply black material for illusion components

Use symmetry to create whole body

Import wheels from truck

Created wrong sized wholes for wheels (should have built around wheels at start!!) Learnt and method used for airplane steps

Created new cylinder - cut geometry of old arch - bridged geometry - removed new excess geometry
